During his graduate studies at Georgia Southern, he served as a Graduate Assistant for the GSU Music Department. He is in constant demand as an arranger for marching bands across both Georgia and South Carolina, and hopes to someday publish both marching band arrangements and original compositions for concert band. A true musician at heart, Mr. Ferguson still enjoys performing. He currently plays with the O.A.S.I.S. community band in Statesboro, GA each spring, and frequentlty serves as a substitute Section Horn / Assistant Principal Horn with the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra (Hilton Head Island, SC). His past performing positions have included Principal Horn with the Statesboro-Georgia Southern Symphony, Principal Horn in the Georgia Southern University Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Section Horn with the Savannah River Winds, and Section Horn with the Aiken Community Band. He has performed with groups overseas in cities across Italy, Austria, and Germany as part of a concert tour with Georgia Southern University in 2005; and performed in concert with Blood Sweat and Tears and Don McLean with the Hilton Head Symphony in Hilton Head Island, SC in 2006.
